Thanatology Press was founded by Cole Imperi, an American thanatologist with a passion for helping people navigate the often-complicated landscape of grief and loss.

Thanatology Press believes that death, dying, grief and loss deserve to be explored with curiosity, compassion, and even a little bit of humor. We're proud to support the mission of the School of American Thanatology by creating publishing opportunities for its students. By working with aspiring thanatologists and deathworkers, we're helping to nurture the next generation of thought leaders, and ensuring that their voices are heard.
